Resorts World has announced that the replacement for Mulberry Street Pizza, which closed Sept. 14, will be another New York-inspired slice shop. However, unlike Mulberry Street—an established Los Angeles brand—Amici New York Pizzeria is an entirely original concept created by the resort.
Instead of collecting rent from a successful tenant, Resorts World aspires to collect profits directly from pizza-hungry patrons. But since Mulberry Street was consistently among the busiest dining spots at the property, it raises an obvious question: Was its popularity driven by brand recognition, or simply by resort guests, late-night Zouk Nightclub revelers, and foot traffic seeking a quick slice?
To stack the odds in its favor, Resorts World is tapping major culinary talent: Executive Chef Ricky McCormick. McCormick, who currently leads the kitchen at Stubborn Seed on-property, previously held leadership roles at Michelin-starred Restaurant Guy Savoy in Las Vegas and multiple Gordon Ramsay venues.

Play’n GO frames each feature as having a defined role within that system. “Each feature in Triple Beasts of Fortune has a clear identity,” said Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO. “Upgrade changes the Bison, Expand opens the grid and Multiplier brings x2 and x3 Multiplier Wilds into play. Super Charged pairs them; Mega Stampede lets all three strike together.”
That comment underlines the studio’s intent. Distinct, legible mechanics that combine into escalating outcomes, a design philosophy Play’n GO has increasingly leaned on to differentiate titles within saturated themes.
For operators, the value is a slot that carries a well-trodden theme but a more flexible bonus proposition than most buffalo-style games, giving players several routes into the feature set. Triple Beasts of Fortune is out now.

One tribunal found in 2019 that Lao Holdings had acted in bad faith and ordered it to pay Laos $1.95 million. Another made a similar finding against Sanum and awarded the government $1.78 million.
A third arbitration produced another award worth nearly $1.3 million, taking the amount Laos is seeking to more than $5 million.
Seven years later, Laos says it is still trying to collect.
